When I’m not in professional mode helping clients dominate their goals, I’m probably with the chickens in the garden, collecting oddly-shaped rocks, or nerding out over genetics and weird health rabbit holes. I believe in minerals, mitochondria, muscle, and a little bit of mischief. Science is my jam—but so is nature, deep conversation, and being an absolute goof with my family. I’m definitely not above a good hotdog joke. In fact, if you stick around long enough, one will happen. If you’re into real talk, real results, and the occasional pun or hotdog-related wisdom, we’ll get along just fine.
I am an IFBB Pro, functional nutritionist, and triple doctorate candidate in Natural, Holistic, and Botanical Medicine with over 16 years of experience in the health and fitness world.
But my journey didn’t start with abs and macros - it started with survival.
I was diagnosed with Lupus in my teens, followed by Crohn’s disease, and for years, they ruled my life. At a lupus conference when I was 20, I asked a panel of doctors what I could do with food - since, you know, food is medicine. They scoffed. Told me to stick to my chemo drugs and that if I didn’t, I’d be dead in five years from complications..
That moment hit me hard. You want me to take medication that makes me sicker than the disease, but not worry about what I’m eating? How I’m moving? What I’m feeding my mind and spirit? That didn’t sit right. As a young person, not knowing much about the world, about medicine, about Lupus - this scared me.
So I questioned it. I left the pharmacy track and dove headfirst into nutrition and functional health. I started working with my body instead of against it - and everything changed.
Of course, there were many mistakes and lessons learned along the way.
Fast forward to today, the Crohn’s went into remission. Then Lupus followed. The gastro and rheum specialists were mystified. Then, after 9 pregnancies, I was finally healthy enough to bring our miracle baby into the world. This is why I’m more passionate than ever about helping others reclaim their bodies, energy, and confidence - not just through diet and training, but through deep-rooted, individualized education and support.
I’m not a physician, and I don’t diagnose, treat, or heal. What I do is educate you about your body, your biofeedback, and your options. We work together as a team - and alongside your healthcare providers - to give your body the best shot at doing what it was designed to do: heal when supported properly.
Our bodies are intricate, delicate, but powerful. They’re always communicating with us. And when we finally slow down, listen, and give them what they need? That’s when transformation happens.
